Three small brasses that I have picked up at different places over the last year. Slightly smaller and much lighter than most brasses. My guess is they were promotional items made by a brewery.
Made by stamping/embossing the design into the thickness of the metal. Anyone any idea who made them? when? are there any more designs?. There are some cast designs, a monkey and a plough, which have a similar look to the boars head, possibly made using one of these as a pattern. Interestingly, though I would assume they were all made at roughly the same time, the lion has a much darker patina on the back.
