A small (5 1/4" x 2") plain Hame plate. Hand made or, if you prefer, a gypsy/tinker brass. Made from a recycled piece of brass sheet (probably a name plate). The even, dark, patina on the back indicates it is quite old (originally, as a name plate, what is now the back would have been the front and would have been highly polished).

Aftermarket, stamped brass that has had pot removed and replaced with washers etc
